Crusaders

Crusaders youth group meet each Thursday, with Juniors (aged 8-12) meeting from 6.15 to 7.30pm and Seniors (years 8 upwards) from 7.45 to 9pm in the Baptist Church. We have plenty of games, fun and a great time, finishing with a talk. Any young people who wish to be members, please call in or contact us for a membership application form.

Crusaders (Urban Saints) are a national organisation, which celebrated their Centenary in 2006. Whitwick Crusaders joined in the celebration with a service in the Baptist Chapel, when each member received a Centenary copy of Mark’s Gospel (see photo).  Burger Night

Burger Night is held at the Coffee Shop in North Street, Whitwick.  All secondary school pupils are welcome.  Bring your friends, cd's and games and come and have a great time.

Cae Canol - Activity Weekends 2010

Youth weekends in Wales. 

The dates for Cae Canol 2010 are

7th to 9th May 2010 (Years 7-9)

Friday 2nd July to Sunday 4th July (Years 10+) 

We are looking forward to having fun, action packed activity weekends at the Crusader Cae Canol Residential Centre at Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.  All water sports activities are carried out by qualified instructors, from Aberglasylyn Hall.

The activities are likely to include games, outdoor pursuits and activities, long walks, discussions, visit to the beach, not to mention lots of food.

The second weekend is an activity weekend for which suitable walking boots and waterproofs are essential.

A bring & Buy sale Saturday 30th January 10am to 12 noon in our Church Hall

For both trips, places are limited, so the allocation of places will be on a first come first served basis.
