Young People      What's it all about?

In the Village

Reaching out to the local community

Coffee shop
A short distance from the church is the Coffee Shop, which has been supported by the church since its foundation ten years ago. As well as providing meals, it is also a place where people can drop in for a chat. It provides a take-away service and luncheon clubs. It is also used as a venue for meetings and special events by the church.

Magazine
Our excellent magazine, Ichthus, is produced monthly in an A4 format and covers a range of local and international issues as well as providing specific information about the church.

Youth Work
Aswell as attracting many youngsters to the weekly Crusaders meetings, J's Place Live goes out to meet the children where they like to be, offering activities that they enjoy.

Home visits
These may be in connection with baptisms, weddings and funerals or of a pastoral nature.

Churches Together

Other churches in the area
There is a strong and active Churches Together between all the churches, of all denominations, in Whitwick and Thringstone.  Representatives of each church meet regularly to arrange combined spiritual and social events.
