Our support for our fellow Christians and fellow man goes beyond the local community - to those in need in this country and throughout the world. 

Supporting Charity & Mission Work It has long been the practice of the church that 10% of our regular income be divided between five charities. These are currently Tearfund, Care, CMS, Cornerstone Coffee Shop (Whitwick), CPAS, with a sum set aside for one-off emergencies.   Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro The Diocese of Leicester has links with the Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. At St John the Baptist, we have developed strong links and relationships with the Anglican Church in Tanzania. Members of the congregation continue to spend time helping in Kiteto Christian College.
