St Paul's Church in Katesh

Our "Church-to-Church" link.

St Paul's, Katesh

Our link with St Paul's Church began when Anne and Roy Stratton visited Revd William Mwaluko at Katesh during a visit to the Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro coordinated by the Diocese of Leicester.

We have much to learn from our brothers and sisters in Tanzania and prayer support and encouragement from St Paul's is important to us.

Kiteto Christian College, Kibaya

The exciting development of a new diocese.

ConfirmationAmazing church growth! - The joy - and the difficulty - is that in Kiteto a new church opens on average every fortnight and it is proving hard to train pastors to keep up with growth!

Bishop John Hayden has led and overseen the building and development of Kiteto Christian College, Cathedral and churches and schools throughout the southern region.

We were privileged to host Revd Peter Mkengi in Whitwick for 10 days during his study and exchange visit to the UK in May 2006.  Peter has coordinated the Theological Training programmes in the south since 2004.
