Tanzania Links - CMS - David and Elaine Macha

David, Elaine, Sam, Jess and Jonny

CMS Mission partners David and Elaine Macha and their 3 children, Sam, Jonny and Jess were based in Moshi in the north of Tanzania.

David was priest at St Margaret's church which has both English and Kiswahili speaking congregations.

Elaine co-ordinated Aids awareness and education programs, working with Mothers Union and youth groups throughout the diocese.

They were in Moshi from 2003 and after a period of home leave in the UK during 2006 returned to continue thei work until Easter 2009.

They returned to the UK at the end of March 2009. For their six month period of leave they will be in the Leicester diocese.

St John the Baptist, Whitwick made donations to CMS as part of the support for their work.
