Sharing your faith

The only way someone hears the good news of Jesus is because someone tells them. Now you have prayed, what is it you are being called to do? This page is simply to help you work that...

How do you talk to God?

How do you talk to God? Do you find somewhere quiet and private and whisper, or do you climb a mountain and shout into the clouds?

Try Praying
It's easier than you think...

20 MILLION ADULTS IN THE UK PRAY.

1 in 3 PEOPLE BELIEVE GOD ANSWERS PRAYER.

WHAT ABOUT CHURCH?
When you pray – it’s not the place that matters – it’s what’s in your heart. It’s an individual action – between you and God. And yet central to Christian belief is being part of a community of people who believe the same – those who can be considered as close as brothers or sisters.

Is one possible without the other? Isn’t church just a Sunday club where people go along out of tradition or hypocrisy?

WHAT ABOUT JESUS?

Seems like everyone agrees that Jesus was a good guy. But God himself? And what was he up to anyway? Was he a street magician like David Blaine, or a male Mother Teresa who got famous for doing good?

WHAT ABOUT SUFFERING?

War. Oppression. Typhoons. HIV/ AIDS. Malaria. Cancer. Poverty. Death. Where is the good news in the midst of all this suffering?

UNANSWERED PRAYERS

There are a number of problems that spring to mind when considering prayer…talking to someone that’s invisible…talking to someone who doesn’t talk back. How is it supposed to work? And what do I do when God doesn’t grant my wish to win the lottery?
