The M.U. is as relevant today as it was to Mary Sumner in 1876.
3.6 million members in 76 countries around the world are seeking to improve lives through the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
We are all playing a role that serves to improve family life in the communities we live in, through practical action and prayer.
We are a global voice that has power to influence world leaders to improve family welfare and alleviate poverty.
We aim to keep our Christian faith central to all that we do, and to help those around us in great need through a variety of outreach projects.
Our prayer is that we may serve those around us, as Christ wants us to do.
St John the Baptist Church Whitwick Mothers' Union meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 2.15pm October to March and at 7.15pm April to September in the Church Hall (unless otherwise informed).
We vary our meeting with speakers and more social evenings and would welcome all who would like to join us.
