Loughborough Road, Swannington, Leicestershire, LE67 8QB
St George's is a small church dedicated to serving the local community. It was built in 1825, and the story is that the site was chosen by William Wordsworth, who was staying at Coleorton Hall as the guest of George Beaumont.
Sunday services are usually on the third Sunday of the month at 10.30am – please see What’s On/Diary & Events for specific details of services each Sunday. On fifth Sundays we join together for worship at 10.30am at one of the three churches.
Baptisms/Christenings usually take place on the third Sunday of the month at 10.30am. Please see Weddings and Baptisms for details of how to book a baptism or your wedding.
